Terry Reilly Health Services - Dental Clinic

Terry Reilly Health Services is a community based non-profit corporation dedicated to providing quality comprehensive health care to populations facing barriers elsewhere.

Terry Reilly Health Services is funded through federal grants, private donations, and other variable sources. The Terry Reilly dental clinics provide high quality, respectful care to all, with fees based on patients’ ability to pay.  Services are available on a discounted fee basis, in accordance with family income for patients who might not otherwise have any access to oral health care.  Many of the clients served at the Terry Reilly clinics are low income, working poor, and homeless who may not have the option to receive their treatment elsewhere.

Terry Reilly Dental does not currently have a dental hygienist on staff due to lack of funding.  At the Boise office, the two staff dentists perform all hygiene care in addition to their dental procedures. The result of this is that patients often must wait for three weeks to get an appointment of any kind.

There is an open dental chair every Friday at Terry Reilly that could be made available to a hygienist willing to donate services.  Currently this is NOT a paid position but there are several good reasons to volunteer!  In addition to the opportunity to help those in need, there are up to 5 CE credits available (one CEU for every two hours donated).   For those hygienists currently not working in your profession, here is an opportunity to practice your profession, maintain your skills and gain experience.  Terry Reilly Health Services requires a current State License and a Certificate of Liability Insurance.  If you or a hygienist you know are willing to give your time and skills to the clinic, please contact Janet Garlick at 208.562.8387 or trueleo@netscape.com.
