Board of Direction

 

Meet the board members elected to serve various terms by members of IDHA. All positions are voluntary and unpaid, with the exception of the Executive Director. They meet regularly to discuss and contemplate various topics regarding Idaho’s dental hygienists and how they can better serve the state. They plan and implement various events including continuing education. They stay informed of legislative changes in dentistry having effects on dental hygiene.

If you are interested in serving on the IDHA Board of Direction, please submit a bio data form to the current President Elect.  Officers are elected each October. Bio Data Form  Please also bring several copies to annual session for attendees to review.

Michelle Rudd
President

Michelle Graduated from College of Southern Idaho's Dental Hygiene program, and currently works in private practice in Boise for Periodontal Health Specialists of Idaho. 

Erica Craven
Immediate Past President

Originally from Venezuela, Erica graduated from the College of Southern Idaho in 2014. She is passionate about Periodontics, the Oral-Systemic link and Community Health. Currently works in Boise for Terry Reilly Health Services and Periodontal Health Specialists of Idaho.

Stephanie Mathews
Vice President

Stephanie currently resides in the Boise area where she works full-time as a clinical dental hygienist at Aspen Dental. Stephanie is a graduate from the dental hygiene program at College of Southern Idaho and is excited to be involved within the IDHA organization. 

Susanne Jamison, RDH, BS
Executive Director

My name is Susanne Jamison and I am currently serving IDHA as the Executive Director. I have been a practicing hygienist for almost 21 years and am currently working as a hygienist for Willamette Dental in Boise.

Jeanna Secrist
Head Delegate

My name is Jeanna Secrist and I have been a hygienist since 2009.  I have worked in public health, private practice, education and now a perio practice.  Being involved in our association has always been a part of my career, as I enjoy making connections with others and have the desire to help the greater good of our profession.  My high school sweetheart Greg and our 3 kids call Twin Falls home.  I am a Past President of IDHA and last year's Second Delegate - I look forward to serving another year with IDHA!

 

Talisha Hansen
2nd Delegate
My name is Talisha Hansen and I am excited to serve with IDHA!  I have been practicing clinical dental hygiene in South Eastern Idaho since graduating from Idaho State University in 2001.  
 
Janis McClelland
1st Alternate Delegate
Colleen Stephenson
2nd Alternate Delegate
Colleen is a graduate of Idaho State University with both her baccalaureate and master's degrees in Dental Hygiene. She currently serves as an executive board member of the Idaho Oral Health Alliance and has served in multiple positions on the Idaho Dental Hygienists’ Association’s executive board, including President (2012-2013).  Colleen lives in Pocatello where she works as a full-time faculty member in Idaho State University's Department of Dental Hygiene and serves as the Community Outreach Coordinator.
