Presenter Nan C Portmann, RDH, has been a practicing hygienist since 2009 and has been in the dental field since 1999, when she started her love for dentistry as a dental assistant. Nan is currently practicing hygiene in a periodontal office where it is important to her to provide her patients with quality care. She strongly believes in being proactive in disease prevention, patient education, and maintaining good rapport with both the patients and referring offices alike.
Nan is the founder of PEAK Dental Solutions, LLC and is passionate about sharing and connecting with dental practices and fellow hygienists through hosting continuing education courses, coaching and consulting with the focus of building a community of learning and camaraderie for dental professionals.

Implant Maintenance Protocol –
Hygienists are the first line of defense for detecting concerns with or changes in soft and hard tissues around implants. This course will help you fill your detection toolbox with valuable information to know what to look for, how to monitor changes and when is it time to refer to a specialist for further treatment.
Practicing hygienist, Nan C Portmann, teaches this informative course geared towards non-surgical implant maintenance within the general practice. This will be an interactive lecture with practical insight and tips to help you in everyday clinical hygiene! Learn how to prevent peri-implantitis, manage it and if it occurs, when to refer the patient to a specialist. You don’t want to miss this!!
